Our office represented an insurance carrier and conducted Examinations Under Oath in claim arising from a house fire where the insured and his spouse were having an argument, gas can was involved, items were thrown toward the house, and the house fire began within minutes thereafter. Ultimately, the insured homeowner (one spouse only) pled guilty to arson, and the claim was denied.
