The law firm of Fleming Law Office practices in the defense of civil litigation, including the defense of personal injury, property damage, and wrongful death lawsuits throughout the courts and counties located in the central region of the State of Illinois.  The firm has an active litigation practice in both the state courts in approximately thirty (30) counties located in central Illinois, as well as the local Federal District Court system. 

The firm represents defendants in the trial courts, which involves both pre-trial work and the handling of civil jury trials.  The firm also has an active practice in the appellate court system, preparing briefs and presentation of oral arguments before the Districts of the Illinois Appellate Court and the Illinois Supreme Court.

The law firm was established in 1997, with John Fleming as a founding partner.  John Fleming came into the practice with significant jury trial experience for the defense at that time.  John’s other partner at the time later left the firm to go on to the appellate judiciary. The firm has now grown in size, including a dedicated full-time paralegal support staff.  Abigail Fleming was made partner in 2020.
